Desulfuromonas es un género de bacterias gramnegativas de la familia Desulfuromonadaceae.[1][2][3] Desulfuromonas puede reducir azufre elemental a H2S.[4] Desulfuromonas se presentan en sedimentos de aguas anóxicas y en lagos salados.[5]
